Very Classy

The Dragonfly Delight table runner is beautifully printed, well-made, and classy. Looks fabulous. I purchased it to use as a sash on a double bed over a natural linen bed cover. Would recommend.

Perfect Tawny

I love this Tawny tea towel. The banksia flowers and pods compliment his odd little self very well; they share those "mouths" and fluffy girth. The colours on the banksia flowers are beautiful. This would be a lovely gift, but I will treasure this one myself. Look at his great face! Excellent.

A special message from a collector

A recent collector introduced my work to her late Mother. Her recent heartfelt message was so beautiful, I just had to share.

‘My beautiful mum passed away last year, and was buried in Quebec, Canada. She was such an elegant lady who deeply loved nature, birds, and art. During the pandemic, she came to visit me in Australia and ended up quarantined with us for six months. She absolutely treasured her time here, and during her stay, she completely fell in love with Trudy’s artwork.

When I went back to Canada for one of my final visits with her, I brought a piece of Australia back to her: I gave her one of Trudy’s peacock scarves.

The moment she saw it, she fell madly in love. She insisted I hold it up high, admiring the peacock design in its full, glorious length as the soft, subtle colours floated around her.

Even though Mum had stopped wearing jewellery or dressing up by that stage, from that exact day on, she had to have that scarf right beside her. It lived on her sofa, and when she was finally confined to her bed, it stayed wrapped around her shoulders or tucked next to her at all times. Everyone who visited knew just how much it meant to her. It brought daily comfort, joy, and beauty into her life.

When she passed, she was buried in it. It gives me such deep peace to know that it was exactly what she wanted.

I recently got a matching peacock scarf of my very own from Trudy; wearing it gives me an additional connection to my mother.

Thank you so much Trudy.
